ST. PHILIP, like Peter and Andrew, was of Bethsaida. He was crucified in Phrygia where he preached the Gospel in 87. ST. JAMES THE LESS was of Cana and a kinsman of our Lord. He wrote one of the Epistles of the New Testament. He was thrown from the terrace of the temple in 93.
