Fifth Sunday after Pentecost–G (II) – St. Anthony Mary Zaccaria, Confessor

After his death, a number of cures were attributed to the intercession of Anthony Mary Zaccaria. 27 years after his death, his body was found to be incorrupt. His mortal remains are now enshrined at the Church of St. Barnabas in Milan, Italy. He was canonized by Pope Leo XIII on 27 May 1897. His feast day is celebrated on 5 July. He is a patron saint of physicians.
