Vigil of the Ascension–W (II) – St. Bernardine of Siena, Confessor–W (Comm.) – Rogation Day–V

St. Bernardine, born of noble parentage, left all and entered the Franciscan Order and became one of its chief glories. He preached everywhere devotion to the name of Jesus, and died in 1444.
